Hello everyone! Looky look - I am very excited as I came across some lovely bits in the H&M summer sale, including this beautiful playsuit (and I usually hate playsuits!) for £7.49! Eeep.
Popped in and did four hours of work today as they were short-staffed, all extra money before I begin full-time work next week I guess!
Rather terrified of beginning said new job, having not worked in admin before but hey, all experience is good experience, right?
Well I am off now to be a good housewifey (after my shift at work and trawling new job area for parking this morn) to make a homely meal, now that's commitment!
If anyone can recommend a good sauce to go with smoked salmon and brown rice, it would be much appreciated as I really have no idea! I believe it was lime and coconut last time which for now shall be my failsafe option.
Good eve!

Fresh Sheets
I believe that there is no better feeling than that of sinking into a big cozy bed covered in clean, fresh white sheets at the end of a tiring day.
Having worked my last Wednesday evening shift at work, I think I can safely say that I won't miss finishing at 7pm - 5pm finishes all round from now on! Whilst working evenings in a shopping centre can be quite peaceful and relaxed as opposed to weekends, I dislike getting home at 7:30 and being ready to drift off to sleep two and a half hours later; where do I find time to read, watch documentaries and blog in that short space of time?
However as the new job start dawns on me, I am beginning to realise how shattered I am going to be working five days here and one at a bookstore, yet I can't bring myself to leave! I adore books and adore being part of a place that introduces people to the wonders of literature. I may need some recommendations of energy-boosting foods soon!
I'm currently a third of the way into Murakami's Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the Worldmand loving it. Quite different to Norwegian Wood where I began my Murakami fascination, but perhaps even more wonderful. Any other Murakami lovers recommend where to go next?
Well with that I am off to immerse myself once more within a world of chubby ladies, Calcutecs and INKlings, ta-rah!

Hello World!
So... It's been a long time coming but I felt that with all the new and exciting things in my life right now, it's about time to begin a blog!
Perhaps not the smoothest start in the world as this is actually my second blog (google decided to delete my brand new, untouched blog as spam :'( sob). But that's the past, and here is my shiny new blog, hurrah!
I figured having finished my three year university degree last month, and staring my first ever full-time job in the face (I start next week), perhaps it's about time I began documenting my modest little adventures in the world.
So welcome all to my world where I hope to share a mixture of things that inspire and excite me, as well as daily doses of life in the (tiny) shoes of Melissa Lynas :)
Enjoy!
Xx
